Umair - I have a love-hate relationship with your writing. I love it because it gives me insight and a new perspective. And I hate it because I have a propensity to be optimistic.

When I was young one of the leading financial analyst publications was “Bank credit analyst” (now BCA Research). It was before my time, but up with market lows of 1974, This Canadian research house published a report predicting that the economy was so bad that Americans would reject the presidency and put a monarchy in place.

Myself? I’m looking for a turn in public awareness and a catalyst for action. Something like the Cuyahoga River fire of June 22, 1969.

It was a long road back to that rivers health. But today fish swim in it.
